Gregory Harper - Musician

Since picking up the bass around the age of 14, I've been involved in musical projects all around the world.  Being brought up on rock, jazz, classical and all the best pop music meant that my interest in music spanned a plethora of styles and I've loved playing every single one. 

 

I've been performing with function and corporate bands alongside playing and arranging for signed solo artists and ensembles.  Some of this took place at stadiums, festivals and radio sessions as well as overseas.

I've composed for international film and television and have had compositions played in concert halls around the world.

 

I've worked with members of 10cc, The Rubettes, The Animals, Big Country, Michael Voss and jazz guitar legend Gary Boyle to name but a few.  I've also been featured in Bass Guitar Magazine.

 

I graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Music and a Masters at Distinction level from the University of Salford and I lecture music at FE level as a fully qualified teacher.
